Hey Rick- that footage of Candye on New Years is awesome. She is so damned talented. I would love to hear her with Harp Dawg. I sent her Black Cat Boogie after it hit 10 k hits and asked if she wanted to record it or use it for a Halloween show. She replied late and said she was sorry but she was here (La Jolla) in hospital. She said she loved it and the video was delightful too. I figured wow, that's major cool, but chill. So I took a beautiful orchid to the hospital and didn't make a scene. I asked the head nurse to take it to her. She asked if I wanted to go up but I felt best not and left it alone. Later she told me thanks. I told her if she was nice enough to spin my tune, what with all that comes her way, it would be my way of saying thanks. Will she ever record it? I don't know but it would be cool for her. I love her tunes. "Toughen Up" was my fight song on re-entry into the world. I would rock it in PT at the Florida V.A. for months . That show on New Years must have been killer. I feel ashamed for not knowing that girl who plays guitar for her. Wow. She is great. How come when I click on the Paul Kantner Tribute it won't play the show for me? Have a cool week. Gibby @home/withapipe/bigscreen/superbowl.com
